- Grab your favorite mug.
- Dump in the melted butter and both sugars. Mix until it looks like wet sand.
- Add the egg yolk and vanilla extract. Stir well.
- Toss in the flour, oats, salt, and baking soda. Mix until blended.
- Top off with chocolate chips.
- Microwave on high for about 40 seconds. If needed, add 10 more seconds, but do not overcook.
- Let it sit for a minute before eating.

Notes
Use a wide mug for even cooking. Brown your butter for an extra nutty flavor. You can add a pinch more salt for sweet-salty vibes. Not suitable for doubling unless using a larger bowl.
