Ingredients
  

For the Dutch Baby
  • 3 large eggs Room temperature
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk Room temperature
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar Optional, adjust to taste
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter Melted
For Serving
  • 1 cup powdered sugar For dusting
  • 1 cup mixed berries Blueberries, strawberries, or your choice
  • 1 cup whipped cream or Greek yogurt Optional for garnish
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon Optional, for extra flavor

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, flour, milk, sugar, and melted butter until smooth.
Cooking
  1. Add butter to a hot cast-iron skillet (or oven-safe skillet) and let it melt.
  2. Pour the batter into the skillet and carefully transfer it to the oven.
  3. Bake for about 20 minutes or until puffed and golden brown.
Serving
  1. Remove from the oven and dust with powdered sugar.
  2. Top with mixed berries, whipped cream, or Greek yogurt as desired.

Notes

Serve right out of the skillet for maximum effect. For a savory version, replace sugar with herbs and cheese.
